• Minimize outages by executing proactive inventory management strategies.
• Develop and monitor inventory management reports to stay one step ahead of the game.
• Implement location codes and cycle counting for a well-organized and accurate inventory system.
• Oversee the introduction of exciting new items to our store mix.
• Monitor shrinkage and recommend innovative ways to reduce theft and breakage.
• Identify obsolete inventory and lead the charge in its strategic removal.
• Maintain adequate inventory levels to ensure we never miss a beat.
• Keep the flow seamless by overseeing and reviewing inter-store transfers.
• Education/Training: High School degree; College degree preferred.
• Experience: Direct sales and inventory experience in a retail environment.
• Skills/Knowledge: Excel in quantitative and computer skills. Familiarity with database management and data analysis is a plus. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Access.
• Excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational ability, and the ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
